Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose

I don't like cherry flavored things so I wasn't sure about buying this, but now I wish I'd ordered a bigger size! The cherry doesn't impart a sweet or tart quality to the tea - which I prefer - it's just a nice hint of a candy-like flavor balanced really beautifully by the floral accents in the tea. I love it! You do need to take care to steep it gently, at a lower temp and for less time, otherwise it will grow bitter/astringent as senchas tend to do. But, brewed right, it's so lovely.

High quality green tea

Had a pot of this Sencha Cherry Rose at the Tea House yesterday (for the first time) and it was super good. I'm a tea girl for many years, and this tea was truly delightful! It's smooth, delicate, and well-rounded.
